Hey, its been a long time since i've updated. I have much to say. i've been busting my ass at work and at school for a while. Sucks. Last Sunday I saw V for Vendetta. It was the best movie ever. What can I say, its not as good as the book, but damn close. Stay Alive is too. I have been watching some wonderful DVD's: Good Night, and Good Luck is a great biopic of Mr. Morrow who telivised his oposing opinions on the McCarthy trials, Capote is another great biopic about Truman Capote and his research for his book In Cold Blood.

I got a new lighter. This is a real zippo. Ash, you'll like this:

I had to write a news article for Public communications and I, being the actor that I am wrote a piece on musicals in Midland/Odessa. The following it a copy of the article.

Musicals: Not Just on Broadway Anymore

Act One; Scene One: You find your seat and get relaxed. The Director comes out and gives you a little information on what you are about to see and future productions. He exits and the house lights fade. The curtain opens and the music begins. No this is not a night in Broadway, but a night at the local theatre. The theatre venue and in particular the musical have found their way into the heart and souls of the people of Midland and Odessa.

"I think it's a great way to introduce great stories to people who don't have the time or the means to go see them on Broadway or in a major city. Most people do not know why these musicals are considered so great, and I think it's important to show them why and perhaps influence others to take part in future shows." Wendi Fuller, a current Midland College student and actress who was just recently in the MCT production of Cats as Victoria, recently stated. High school students also enjoy the public theatre. Christina Jones, a Lee High junior and actress who has appeared in such local productions as Ragtime, gave her opinion on the importance of musicals in west Texas. "Musicals are essential to this area. They open up a world of possibilities for the cultural aspect of the town. In some cases, we are primarily focused on athletics and everything surrounding that; but at other times, this town tends to forget that there are other aspects of entertainment and fulfillment. Musicals bring that missing piece to this town and fill the empty artistic gap. It also gives new opportunities to people in the area to showcase their talent and prove that they don't have to throw a football to get recognition(They) give a sense of hope and happiness that movies, television, radio, etc. cannot emit. It's the power of live theatre and the radiance of music and dance that can fill the soul."

When asked about pricing, which is between $10 and $20, both girls were in agreement that the pricing was very reasonable. Wendi Fuller said, "Considering how expensive musicals are to put on, I think it's a very generous price on the part of the theatre. People have to take into account that although many of the cast and crew are volunteers, there are still people that have to be paid, such as directors and at times Equity actors. Then there's the costume and set expenses, which can stack up very quickly." While Christina Johns said this, "I think it's just right. We put on quality performances in this area that deserve a quality charge; and musicals don't come cheap to produce. But the price of tickets hear are no where near the price of a Broadway show or even a show in the Dallas, Houston, or Austin area; nor should they be. It's at the perfect amount to gain a profit for shows they want to produce but keep it in our price range."

Looking ahead the girls were both in agreement on seeing Seussical in this upcoming MCT season. It is based on the works of Dr. Seuss and will be the closing production of the 2006 season. Anyone wanting to see it, or any other MCT production should call the MCT box office. For information on Permian Playhouse and Globe Theatre production, call their respective box offices.

Brokeback Bride

Well time for the great update.
sunday I went to see Brokeback Mountain. one word. Amazing. It goes right up there in the relems of Author Miller's Death of a Salesman in terms of not excepting one's self. There were two people behind me in line and they were making homophobic jokes about the movie and gave me a wierd look when i asked for my ticket to it. Why must I live in an uncultured town. I sencerly recomend everyone see the movie.
I sent of ashly's care package which she should get in a day or two.
I bought Corpse Bride today. I got the Walmart edition with a book version included. I love Tim Burton. He and Orson Welles are my two favorite directors.

Breaking Glass

okay, I had not planned on updating until this happened Friday. Wait, let me get in my story telling mood. *puts on smoking jacket, gets glass of wine and begins to puff on a pipe*
Alright Friday morning was like any other morning. I went to school and then when I came home my dad said that all the windows in Bob's Better Burger had been busted out. mom had called him to warn me ahead of time. So, I decided to skip food (in fact i didn't eat at all that day til 4) I changed cloths quickly and headed to work. Sure enough all of the windows in the place were busted out. It took us til noon to clean it up. and the police decided that the blood found was not important, until the media came then they made sure to retrieve a sample. Anyway we ended up on the front page of the paper as the biggest article. So maybe they with find the fucking cunt and hang him by his little pencil dick. Okay that is my rant.
And now the good news. sunday I am going to see Tristan and Isolde. Yay!!!

Year of the Rat. My New Years Resolution and such

Okay first if you are one of those who actually pay attention to the chinese zodiac you will know this is actually the year of the dog, but Year of the Rat is the name of a song.

Anyway much has happened at the end of the year. One of my co-workers boyfriend was arrested, for child molestation. As you all know I hate child molestors. Anyway my boss has been a bitch latly (like she ever isn't). I had to use the restroom and went in, unbuckled my pants and then I heard her yelling that I had been in the restroom for half an hour. She started banging on the door asking if I was okay. I just buckled my buckle and stepped out and said sarcastically ( not to mention very mad), "If i can't even have one minute in the restrrom without being accused of being in there half an hour then I'll just start pissing and shitting my pants while up here. Will that make everyone fucking happy." Even one of my co-workers said that it was imposible for me to be there have an hour because I had just barley sold an order before going to the restroom. Also many of our workers are not showing up and putting us in a bind and I always get the sort end of it. I get yelled at for not keeping up with the orders, but then again I have to work the frier, sack fries, onion rings, and baskets, and answer the phone. In other words I have to do the work of 3 people.

So hear is my new years resolution: To get a new job. That pays great! And to move out of Midland. I know I can achieve the first part but I don't know about the second part. Maybe.

This year I've been busy!

Last Friday I helped plzspearbritney see the light (8 points). In February I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In July I donated bone marrow to zephyrnium in a life-saving procedure (300 points). Last Thursday on a flight to Pakistan, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). In October I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points).

Overall, I've been nice (613 points). For Christmas I deserve a Lego set!

Okay, bosses should not be biased against their workers on the bases of sex or anything else. And they really shouldn't blame everything on one person. I have rites as a worker and they have been infrenged apon. I am tired of it. I got cussed out by a customer then my boss got mad at me for it. That pissed me off. What really pissed me off was my boss said "No one likes you!" to me after confronting the lady. Then I decide fine I'll just work in back and she blames me for everything that goes wrong in the kitchen now even if I'm not involved. So I'm looking for a new line of work. Any ideas.

I can't believe LJ was down. Now that its back up I get to tell you everything.
Day before yesterday sucked anally. Work was horrible. We weren't really busy but its just the workers. Right now the only workers I really talk to are my mom, Christy and Misty (I havn't had time to tell ya'll Misty is Christy's twin and she worked at bob's before but hed to quit to go finish her sintence because she was tired of probation and the officer kept harrasing her). Shawna is a racist from hell. She actually said the she thinks all black people (she used a harsher word) should be lined up and shot. She also says that her dad is some head pooba of the KKK. That pisses me off and she kept acting rude to me all thursday. Then anytime I said something to margaret she didn't agree with (opinions mind you) she would disagree and not let up til I finally agreed with her even if I didn't believe the same way she did. Then Kim, who has started being really rude lately, made sime very lude sexual comment about me to my mom. My god could thursday have been anyworse. I went home and cryed then decided that I have to get a new job.
Yesterday was better. I think because in the afternoon I got to talk to Ashly and she cheered me up and I made her laugh. I'm glad she's happy again. Being single isn't all that bad. I mean you get to try different people and after a while you'll find someone that'll give you that spark. I'm glad she went on a date with Eli she needed that confidence boost.
I also went to the record store yesterday and bought some ELO records and some broadway records then the owner gave me a copy of this old Alice Cooper consert poster from the Ector County Collosium!!! Can you say kick ass.
As for today...I don't know...I want to hang out with someone but after whoring myself out all week I havn't gotten a bite. Maybe someone will get online soon and I can see if the want to hang out. I think ash is the only person I havn't seen in a while. Anyway if no one is on by 2 I think I'll start calling people. I really wanna hang out with people today.

I'm bored. Really bored. lol

Well, at least Ash got into Slytherin. lol

I got my hair cut really short today. I like it. Less hair to comb. lol although now I need to shave because I look like crap with short hair and a half ass goatee. I'm sure if anyone see's me they will agree. I also went to dales and bought my weekly comics. lol I'm so predictable.
It is really cold. my nose was cold at work. I felt like a puppy with a cold nose. lol
My dad is better now. he was really sick before. I nearly got sick yesterday, but I feel fine and dandy now.
I'm tired of these lonely weekends. It's been for hell and ever since i did anything with anyone so I'm whoring myself out on sunday. It's the last Sunday before I have to return to school. It is supposed to be warm by then. Consider me whored out worse than the ho's in HOdessa. lol

I'm doing an early update today cause I don't know if I'll be on until tonight. I got some things I need to get done. Like buy my books for college.
We were slow yesterday and probably will be today too.
I don't have much to say about today or yesterday. They were pretty normal days. Tonight when I get off I'm going to try to talk to ash online to see if she wants to hang out sunday. I was thinking we could do something fun like taking her and becca to putt-putt and maybe she and I can go see spanglish. So yep, I hope my weekend (IE Sunday) goes the way I hope it does. =)

Its fucking freezing

It was so cold today. I'm glad the sun finally came out. Last night was dull. I finished my Invader Zim dvd. This morning I didn't want to get out of bed but eventually I did and went straight to work. It was slow today. I guess ppl were just too cold to get out and eat. During my split I went to Miss B's and bought some books. god I can't wait til July 16th for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm so glad I reseved a copy. Someone visit me at Bob's tonight. I'll be there til 10.
